Missions is a critical way Maximize The Moment strives to create a difference throughout the world! Through missions we strive to build, catalyst, and ignite change for Christ globally. Missions are vital way we spread the word and build communities, teams, and individual not just within the United States but everywhere and for everyone.
Socks are one of the most in-demand materials for those who find themselves homeless or in need. In 2018 Maximize The Moment created the "Box of Socks" program that gathered and donated over 1,000 socks for homeless shelters in the greater St. Louis Area.
2023 MTM partnered with 17 Capitol Region Military Units and civilian organizations to aid the staggering number of homeless + persons within Washington D.C during the winter season. Items collected by the team include 1,700+ Pairs of Socks, 19 Jackets, 17 Hoodies, 22 Hats, 3 Blankets, 4 Gloves pairs, and 2 Backpacks. The number of people experiencing homelessness in D.C. has increased by 11.6 percent over the last year. This year's homeless census tallied 4,922 homeless individuals in the District, up from 2022's 4,410. Socks are the items of clothing most needed in homeless shelters. They're also the least donated. New socks contribute to better mobility and minimize the possibility of frostbite and reduce the risk of cellulitis, impetigo, fungal infection, trench foot, and skin breakdown.
Ambassadors of Christ is Prison Ministry that seeks, connects, and ministers to those currently incarcerated. This explosive movement is led by Danny Cox with the help of Kevin Hill, Ricardo Valdez, and Sydney Sullivan. They travel, speak, and testify to bring souls into the Kingdom and spread the love of Christ. For interest please see the contact page for church, prison, or facility to coordinate a visit!
We are undertaking the 5 YEAR GOAL of raising $10,000 USD for these people! The approach Lifewater takes provides clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), work, partnership with local ministries to start bible studies, plant churches, distribute bibles, and more. Lifewater serves all people regardless of religion, listening first and walking alongside community members as neighbors.
Jesus said, "The water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life"(John 4:14). We want to lean into that! The living water that Jesus gives us as believers spiritually is a life-giving power which is a continual flowing fountain within us that is alive and active. Lets put FAITH into ACTION and be an active part of shrinking generational gaps. In Bensa, Ethiopia 65% DO NOT have safe water to drink, well below national and regional averages. This project aims to serve 19,781 people which is 9% of the total rural population of 202,992!
